Time for a Post!

I really need to update this puppy more often!
I'm slackin! I guess I've been too caught up with work, school, websites, SLEEP, and a few other things that I haven't devoted enough time to you blogger. I feel like I've been cheating on you blogger. Cheating on you with the rest of my busy life. And for that I apologize and hope this post will help to better our relationship. HAHA. Wow, that all sounded strange. Anyways.... Here's some artwork I've done over the past few months. Just some stuff to show, as I'm more of a visual person and I'm not in the mood to write too much right now.

So first off, here is an image of an outdoor poolside bathroom I made last quarter for 3D principles. It was done in Maya's mental ray mode. Took FOREVER!
So below are a few digital matte paintings I did for background design and layout class for Harry Hamernik. It's a great class. I really enjoy painting and it's a career path I might move towards and try to better myself at.

Here's a silly little poster I made for a family hangout. Pretty much getting drunk and eating hot dogs. Good times.
Now here are storyboards for my storboarding for animation class. The script is from Tales from Brer Rabbit. It actually took me quite a bit of time to map out each frame and decide which shots to use from the provided script.
Silly late night marker art. No real meaning or purpose here. It's just one of those random pieces I'll occasionally throw together.
Quickie background for storyboarding class.
Tattoo concept design for a friend. She wanted a girly sun tattoo that represented the beach and summer.
San Diego Parochial School Network Logo I made for a new website my friend Dan and I are launching later this month. It's rendered in Maya Mental Ray software.
Screen shot from a 3D animation I made for class. It's the pixar lamp. :]

So I've been practicing some caricature work lately. Here's a caricature of my uncle john. The bottom image is more of a real life image of my young cousin diego.
